    Definitely not an easy fit. Makes me think spending the extra to get the Ford part may have saved a time and aggravation.

    Message from owner: The filler pipe application from the 1995-2001 ford contour/mystique happens to be the hardest installation and removal process in any filler neck ever built. We recommend dropping the rear suspension cross member and upper strut mounts to install this much easyer. Im not sure that getting a ford part would make a difference.
    Its just the nature of the beast on this one. It does sound like you got it installed and hopefully we saved you several hundred dollars.
