Replace your dry rotted or damaged fuel filler hose! This fuel filler neck hose fits the 1980-1986 Ford F series pickups with standard fleetside beds side. This fill hose is for the front or "midship" tank location. If you have already purchased the competition's hose the first time; then, yes this one is actually long enough and will last longer than one year.

    This hose fits perfect. I ordered another hose from the local auto parts store, for less money, of course it didn't fit. Luckily I found a link to this site from one of the Ford Truck Forums which had this hose. Seems he did the same thing I did, ordered the hose from the local auto parts and even the on line discount stores, that hose didn't fit, it was about 4" to short.

    This one is the one you want/need.

    Install tip; I installed the inner plastic vent hose into the tank bracket, used some die-electric grease on the hose ID, then slipped this hose over the top of the vent hose and onto the tank neck, then slipped the metal filler neck into this hose. I had to lower the tank about 3-4" to do the replacement without removing the tank. you can leave the other lines attached to the tank, to replace this hose.

    Worked perfectly, standard parts stores do not carry the correct hose, it's about 4 inches to short.

    do not buy from spectra will be to short. This one will be correct length.
